Documentary featuring internationally acclaimed Russian born ballet dancer, Natalia Makarova. Natalia introduces and provides a brief background to each of the ballet excerpts included in this dance documentary demonstrating that not only is she a wonderful dancer but also she possesses a charming and humorous personality. Her partners include Anthony Dowell, Denys Ganio, Gary Chryst, Tim Flavin, and the Norman Maen Dancers supported by the music of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Barry Wordsworth. In 1983 Natalia won a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical.
