Performed by the Royal Danish Ballet at the Royal Theatre, Copenhagen, “Napoli” is a ballet in three acts by 19th century dancer and choreographer, August Bournonville with music by E. Helsted, G. Rossini, Niels W. Gade, H.S. Paulli, H.C. Lumbye. It is a romantic tale of a young fisherman, Gennaro (Arne Villumsen) and his beloved Teresina (Linda Hindberg) set in the delightful Italian seaside town of Naples. Supporting cast includes Mona Jensen, Flemming Ryberg, Fredbjorn Bjornsson, Tommy Frishoi, Palle Jacobsen with the Royal Danish Orchestra conducted by Peter Ernst Lassen.
