An extract from the last film directed by Jean Vigo, which tells the story of a young skipper of a barge who takes on board his newly-wed country girl, and their slow trip up the Seine towards Paris. The film relates their early love, disillusion, separation and final reconciliation. This extract deals with their separation. Suitable for upper secondary level.
