This film shows an example of one of the innovations being considered as an alternative to the traditional method of selling wool by auction at wool exhanges. The method proposed enables the woolbuyer to bid for any wool being offered for sale throughout Australia. Wool-buyers and woolbrokers are linked by an extensive network of computer outlets, which enables wool sales to be conducted without the face to face contact at a wool exchange.
