A history of the Indian and Indonesian art and a demonstration by Nancy Belfer. Shows modern and traditional pieces being made. We see washing, drying and framing the cloth, the initial blocking-in of shapes, working with heated wax, the tjanting tool and the tjap, with a sequence on the actual printing and dyeing of the cloth. Suitable for upper primary and secondary levels.
