Presents a study of a cave, the Grotte du Lazaret, near Nice in France. Reveals much about the life of man 130,000 years ago. Includes studies of sedimentation, microscopic slides, isotopes of uranium and oxygen and pollen examinations. Gives a detailed analysis of man’s organization in this cave. Suitable for Lower-Upper Secondary students.
