An anthology of nine short films, each written and directed by a student (youngest 11 - oldest 15). Each film is a commercial for life, to promote appreciation of being alive. The films in the anthology are BIRD (directed and written by Kimmie Jensen); LIFE, LIFE, LIFE (directed and written by Jordon Hale); TANK (directed and written by Paul Shapiro); GHOSTS (directed and written by Marilyn Becker); PEANUT (directed and written by Ricky Clark); CHESSMEN (directed and written by Melissa Franklin); OLD FOLKS (directed and written by Robi Blumenstein); GROWING UP (directed and written by Celia Merkur) and MUD PUDDLE (directed and written by Andrew File).

Content notification

Our collection comprises over 40,000 moving image works, acquired and catalogued between the 1940s and early 2000s. As a result, some items may reflect outdated, offensive and possibly harmful views and opinions. ACMI is working to identify and redress such usages.
