In a journey “through her window” Barbara ventures into Arealand for the three programs in the MeasureArea cluster. She explores the concept of area and discovers a variety of ways to determine it with trhe help of many unusual fantasyland characters. In this program Barbara learns that area is two-dimensional and that “covering” is a process to determine area. She encounters square metre, square decimetre and square centimetre. Suitable for middle and upper primary levels.
