Surveys the hoofed mammals called ungulates, including those which are even-toed, such as hippopotamuses, pigs and deer, and those that are odd-toed, such as rhinocereoses and horses. Describes their diets, feeding habits, special adaptations and usefulness to humans. Suitable for middle and uppere primary and lower secondary levels.
