This film features American film producer Saul Bass discussing the evolution of title sequences that he has designed for feature films. He demonstrates how he translates the themes of major motion pictures into graphic visual animation. Sequences from films include: ‘The Man with the golden arm’, ‘West side story’, ‘It’s a mad, mad, mad world’ and ‘Walk on the wild side’, among others.
