Part of “The World we share” series. Provides a study of life that abounds in the lake area in Gippsland. Shows the microscopic life in the waters of the lakes. Also notes the animals and birds that inhabit the shores such as the sea eagles that fish the lakes and the ant lion and the digger wasp that make their homes in the lake’s sandy shores. The mysterious moss ball swamps near the lakes are also looked at. Suitable for middle and upper secondary level.
