Uses archival footage and stills to document the beginnings of the American Indian protest movement in Chicago during the 1970s. Three leaders of the movement recount the events which motivated them to bring public attention to the plight of the American Indian, who has left the reservation with promises of employment and a better life only to find unemployment, slums and alcoholism.
