Using examples from the Modern Masters exhibition, this film traces the early influences of Suerat, Cezanne and African art on the development of Cubism. Paintings of Picasso and Braque are shown in great detail from the period when they worked “like two mounaineers roped together”. No commentary, music soundtrack only. Suitable for upper secondary level.
