Tells the story of a teenage boy whose stammering and difficulty in communicating his feelings and thoughts were brought on by the death of his mother when he was a small boy. Shows how he develops confidence and a sense of achievement through learning to skate well and through his asociation with the couple who teach him to skate. Based on a novel by Mildred Lee. Suitable for middle and upper primary levels.
