Original footage and re-enactments are used to tell the story of Thomas Edison. Examines his accidental entry into telegraphy: his creation of an inventions factory; and his many inventions such as the light bulb, the alkaline battery, the electric train, the ediphone, the gramophone, and the motion picture camera.
