Looks at part of the life of Martin Luther King from 1955 to his assassination on 4 April 1968. Provides interviews with his widow and with Congressman Andrew Young, and includes footage of the civil rights campaign led by King; the bus boycotts; the Klu Klux Klan’s violent campaign; the non-violent civil disobedience; the filling of jails with arrested non-violent campaigners; and the huge marches for peace.
