Looks at the life of a young shepherd boy in a village on the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan. Depicts the care of sheep and also shows growing and milling of wheat, husking of corn, and the spinning of wool for clothing. Emphasises the role played by each member of the village in meeting the needs of the community. Suitable for upper primary and lower secondary levels.
