The Volunteer Youth Program

Highlights the depressing effect that prolonged unemployment can have upon a young person’s self-confidence and that involvement in community work can provide an opportunity for people between jobs to exercise a sense of choice in their career. Explains the resources of the Volunteer Youth Program providing a sample of the range of activities - theatre, public radio and child care.
