William Gibson’s famous line - “the street finds its own uses for things” - is at the heart of this mid 1990s burner from junglists Ed Rush & Nico. Drawing on cyberpunk, and sampling both Blade Runner and Predator 2, Ed Rush and Nico double down on the dystopian aesthetic and twist and chop funk drum patterns into a mechanistic march into a brutal future.
