We are grateful for the support of our partners, who help make possible ACMI’s vibrant mix of exhibitions, screenings, commissions, education programs and festivals.
As a State-owned museum, ACMI is funded by the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria.
ACMI supports freedom of expression for the collaborators, creators and artists we work with. We strive for transparency and mutual respect in all aspects of our valued relationships with the community.
Our work with corporate, philanthropic and programming partners whose values we are aligned, is an essential part of delivering our vision to be a hub for the screen sector. We use a range of processes to assess partnerships, and we review the partnerships twice a year. These reviews are guided by the following principles:
- Partnerships do not in any way affect ACMI’s artistic freedom, or that of the collaborators, creators, and artists we work with.
- Partners and ACMI’s values are aligned.
- Partners are compliant with Australian governance standards
- Partners’ activities reflect their values, and their work does not directly harm people or the environment.
- Partnerships help ACMI achieve our organisational goals.
If you would like to know more about ACMI’s partnerships, or are interested in forming one, please email us via our feedback form.
