Weaving a dark web

In contemporary Hollywood cinema, children's films often align with comedy and musical genres. However, harking back to the days of European fairytales (and certainly beyond), children's stories are historically dark in tone and were written for both children and adult audiences alike. With an apocalyptic threat looming large, Moomins and the Comet Chase veers more into darker territory. However, it is the talented voice cast that conjures some connections to some pure cinema darkness.
