Urvi Majumdar plays resident receptionist Gwen Albright in the TV series Metro Sexual (2019– ).
A two-time RAW State finalist, Urvi has performed to sold-out crowds at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Melbourne Fringe Festival, Emerging Writers' Festival and Melbourne Writers’ Festival. In 2019, Urvi was selected for the inaugural StandUP! grant, awarded by the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in collaboration with Premier Daniel Andrews. Urvi can be seen on the ABC Fresh Blood series Gourmet Lazy, as well as Melbourne International Comedy Festival's prestigious line-up shows Up Front, Comedy Up Late, Geraldine Hickey and Friends and Comedy Rooms of Melbourne. Urvi has had several guest spots on 3CR Radio and is a regular writer for Channel 10’s The Project.
