Take your students' animation skills to the next level through this full-day workshop.
In this workshop, students work in production groups to bring a short script to life, whilst exploring character movement and expression. Students will engage in important pre-production planning to ensure their claymation-like projects are successful, and use a variety of camera shots and angles to elevate their animations, before completing their animations with a variety of sound effects.
Students will:
- use professional armatures
- delve into animation pre-production skills such as storyboarding
- time camera shots through frame counting
- produce a short animation using professional animation equipment
- engage with sound design to elevate their finished product
Important information
This is a full day program for upwards of 28 students, and we recommend students have experience with stop motion animation already. It does not include an exhibition visit.
