Monday to Thursdays during school terms

10am-2:00pm

Students explore animation using materials, costumes, physical objects, as well as themselves. After warming up with a stop-motion procession, students then collaborate on an animated artworks that will produce organic stories and happenings.

Students will:

- explore animation principles through real-world objects and costumes

- utilise teamwork to create visually engaging animations

- explore organic storytelling through collaboration and practice

10-10:30am: Introduction and warm-up activities

11am-12pm: Group 1 filming, Group 2 visits The Story of the Moving Image exhibition

12-1pm: Group 2 filming, Group 1 visits The Story of the Moving Image exhibition

1-1:40pm: Lunch

1:40-2:00pm: Screening and reflection
