A group of friends have stumbled their way into Wonderland and must find a way home.

Drawing inspiration from Alice in Wonderland, this workshop involves green screen performance and introduces ideas around dialogue writing, character creation and more.

Students will:

  • work together to write their own dialogue
  • develop characters
  • engage with film performance
  • explore body language and movement on film sets
  • perform on a green screen and interact with digital objects

Important information:

In this workshop, students start their day together, before breaking into two groups after recess. Please see 'duration' information in the sidebar for more information.

10-10:40am: Introduction and warm-up activities

11am-12pm: Group 1 filming, Group 2 visits The Story of the Moving Image exhibition

12-1pm: Group 2 filming, Group 1 visits The Story of the Moving Image exhibition

1-1:50pm: Lunch

1:50-2:15pm: Screening and reflection
