In 2019 the global videogame market made more than 3.5 times the global film box office – that’s more than the film and music industries combined. Despite the market being so huge, developers are constantly seeking to hook new audiences. So how do developers sell a game?

Join director Neil Huxley as he discusses the interactive game trailer Middle Earth: Shadow of War and shares the technical and dramatic challenges of crafting virtual worlds and characters that feel natural and emotional, as well as making the everyday appear cinematic and enchanted.

This event will be streamed on ACMI’s YouTube channel on Monday 20 July 2020 at 6pm (AEST). Subscribe to the channel or follow us on Facebook and Twitter to be notified when videos will be available to watch. You will still be able to watch the video after the event has run.
