Donate to support the cost of an exhibition ticket, so people facing financial barriers can attend Goddess free of charge.
At ACMI, we recognise that creative experiences can provide respite, reflection and connection. As we head towards the end of the financial year, we also recognise these experiences aren’t always financially accessible to everyone. In this year’s annual appeal, we are seeking support, so we can provide a ticket to our Goddess: Power, Glamour and Rebellion exhibition, free of charge, to people that face a financial barrier in attending.
In our empowering and insightful Goddess exhibition, visitors learn about the impact of screen’s leading gender revolutionists – how they challenged narratives, defied expectations and transcended tropes. We hope visitors walk away inspired to be bold, challenge stereotypes and forge their own paths – by shattering glass ceilings or embodying their own hero, in their own story.
A $25 donation will provide 1 ticket to someone that could otherwise not attend. We are aiming to raise $40,000 before 30 June, providing 1,600 tickets to our community partners, to distribute tickets to their students, clients and beneficiaries.
Support our annual appeal today. Your donation will cover the cost of an exhibition ticket so people who otherwise could not attend, are able to visit.
Our community partners
We are working with community partners to distribute tickets to their clients and beneficaries. If you are in a position to do so, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to support our 2023 annual appeal.
