The ACMI + RMIT Audience Lab program allows players, developers and those who are just curious to help support emerging videogames professionals while having a great time.
This month's Lab features the newest creations from the final year students of RMIT's Bachelor of Design (Games).
Games
Spaceport925
A slow paced game similar to the likes of Papers Please or That's Not My Neighbour, where you, as the new customs official, must carefully exam the IDs of the Alien Entrants coming through the Spaceport border security before sending them to new alien worlds to live.
Moka and Mocha
Moka and Mocha is a rogue-like cooperative action game set in a mystical convenience store brought to life by a witch’s mirror. Players control Moka, a brave Samoyed, and Mocha, a quick-witted tabby cat, as they battle enchanted store items to restore order. With vibrant Y2K pixel art, playful animations, and dynamic sound design.
Carderia
Rebuild and defend the fallen medieval town of Carderia where all is represented through cards. Stack your cards together and end your turn, to create buildings, mine ore, grow food and more!
Time To Go Home
Play as Kipp as he wastes away the hours after school, waiting to go home… fill up the time, drawing, sticking and wandering around in Kipp’s wondrous imagination! In this narrative experience, take your time to reminisce and reflect through the innocent eyes of a child.

A CRPG narrative based mystery game set in a futuristic dystopian world setting. The player controls the protagonist, a highly valued experimental subject of the military, uniquely modified with "mind control" abilities.
Sepulchre
Sepulchre is a haunting exploration horror game where players must escape the eerie catacombs filled with dark secrets... while something lurks in the shadows alongside you.
Deadlines
Deadlines is a fixed-camera psychological horror puzzle game that explores themes of guilt, nostalgia, and self-confrontation. You play as Ashley, a teenager navigating the unsettling halls of Redwood High after school hours. As you explore, fragments of your past begin to resurface, stirring up emotions and forcing you to face a long-buried guilt.
Dazza's Board
Dazza’s Board is a 3D Platformer collectathon, with a focus on taking your time and immersing yourself in the world around you. Inspired by the lands of Tasmania, you play as Dazza: a Tasmanian Devil who’s ostracized by the local community due to his misunderstood demeanour. Navigate across the beautiful environments as you uncover secrets and collectables along the way.
Stellar
A short adventure game that follows a girl and a star fighting shadows and lighting altars to rescue her village and restore light to the world. Follow Stella as she explores a world she once knew, now covered in an eternal darkness.
Wattle Creek
A heartfelt, narrative-focused walking simulator about leaving a beloved rural Australian town for the uncertainty of the big city.
Alchemeow
Alchemeow is a physics-based couch co-op game where you and a friend play as cats to brew potions together based on hints. Use your coordination and teamwork to overcome the struggles that come with only having control of one paw!
BSF Complex
2024 Gungeworld amoebic-immersive-sim apartment gift-giving physics toy videogame. Steal from and donate trash to the neurotic ingrate denizens of a gloomy city highrise. Endear yourself to them & invade their homes. Let them tell you about mysterious baltic nations, plausible conspiracies and eggs filled with mercury.
Venari
Venari is a movement-combat action game. As a centaur mercenary, you task yourself with hunting down the behemoth snake Veles. In your way, are the great serpent's worshipers, devoting themselves with their magical music, guarding the ancient canyons that harbour age-old secrets of this world.
Endless Escape
Take on the role of Nathan, the latest victim forced to break out of a series of lethal games set by the mastermind. Do your best to solve puzzles before your own sanity runs out in this highly-intensive VR experience that’ll keep you on your toes.
