On a journey to find his missing daughter, Luis (Sergi López) and his young son Esteban find themselves out of place at a Moroccan desert rave. But when an unknown militia storms in to shut down the festival, they must tail a group of thrill-seeking bass-heads across the desert to the next party.

Fraught with broken roads, muddy trenches and cliffside turns, Luis and the ravers are faced with hazardous conditions that they'll have to work through together to survive. But as the journey stretches from hours to days, the music dies down and anxiety spikes, Luis’ chances of finding his daughter, protecting his son and keeping his sanity sink further and further into the dunes.

Sirât premiered at the 78th Cannes Film Festival, where it received the Jury Prize, sharing it with Mascha Schilinski's Sound of Falling. The film went on to receive two Oscar nominations for Best International Feature and Best Sound – and what amazing sound it is.
