Frame + ACMI X All-Day Showcase
Presented by ACMI X & MIFF
When
Thurs 22 Aug 2024
12pm – 5pm
Join Frame Documentary to trial four interactive projects that merge non-fiction stories with creative technology.
Proudly co-presented by ACMI X, Frame Documentary and the Melbourne International Film Festival, this special Works-In-Progress presentation will provide audiences with the chance to trial projects being developed through the 2024 Frame Documentary Lab.
Drawing from a variety of technologies from AI to AR, holograms to the ubiquitous smartphone, the projects draw on some of our most urgent themes to explore the relationship between humanity, identity and technology today.
Throughout the day the four teams who make up the 2024 Frame DocLab cohort will present the projects they're currently developing: giving the public a chance to meet the artists, trial their projects and provide real-time feedback.
ACMI is a wheelchair accessible space and there are accessible amenities at our venue. Learn more
