Built with human emotions and a heart of gold, Astro Boy sets out on new adventures meeting new humans and robots along the way.

He's a little robot with a big heart; but when you're newly built, it's not always easy to make new friends.

Through four episodes selected from the 1980 television series, Astro sets out to make new friends. When he starts going to a new school in a city still adjusting to robots having equal rights, Astro finds himself feeling excluded. The other students aren't used to robots and they haven't realised that it's Astro's combination of strength and emotions which make him so special. Meanwhile, at an underwater station, Astro meets another robot boy with the power to transform into animals, and on a top-secret mission, he meets a robot girl who could be a new friend or something more.
