About Trash Puppets
Trash Puppets is a puppetry & sustainability education company, founded in 2015, by professional puppet-maker/puppeteer Jhess Knight and Environmental Scientist Lucy Hedt. Trash Puppets’ work is exclusively managed by Packed House Productions, an independent company that works with unfunded artists and micro-companies to fund, create, stage and tour their work. We are on a mission to save the world - one puppet at a time. We believe that fostering creativity is key to a happy, healthy planet. Through our playful workshops and performances, we get kids and families thinking and talking about recycling, and creating something new from discarded materials.
