Frederick Wiseman’s recently restored documentary takes us back in time and behind the scenes of New York modelling agency Zoli.

Curator's Note

In this rarely screened and recently restored film, documentarian Frederick Wiseman turns his lingering camera in the direction of the New York modelling agency Zoli (now Click Model Management).

This amazing snapshot, predating the supermodel era, captures models as they roller-skate, strike a pose and parade for Oscar de la Renta. And being set in New York in the late 70s to early 80s, it wouldn’t be complete without a cameo appearance from Andy Warhol.
