Get ready for a night of schlock, horror, gore, and goo!

Starting with a healthy dose of parasite stomping good times with Alice Maio Mackay’s homage to the history of queer and genre cinema, T Blockers. When ancient parasites that thrive on hatred rise from beneath a small town, taking the most fearful and susceptible as hosts, a young trans filmmaker struggling to transition in increasingly hostile times for LGBTQ+ people, finds herself the only one who can sense the possessed, and rally the resistance before the horror escapes and spreads.

Stick around (if you dare) for Sasha Rainbow’s debut feature - where Mean Girls meets Face/Off - the slash-tastic Grafted. When a brilliant but disfigured Chinese scholarship student is shunned by her fellow classmates at a prestigious New Zealand university, she decides to achieve the popularity she so desperately craves by putting her science studies to a new and terrifying use.

MWFF’s almost midnight movie marathon is not for the faint of heart and not to be missed!
