NAIDOC Week 2020: Always Was, Always Will Be

Join iconic writer/directors Tony Briggs (The Sapphires, The Warriors) and Tracey Rigney (Endangered, Abalone, Man Real) as they discuss this year’s NAIDOC theme: Always Was Always Will Be.

These words are powerful, and their meaning is loaded with history and at the same time looks to the future. This conversation will explore how different filmmakers interpret this theme and how they have seen it expressed through the moving image. They will reflect on their own work particularly their newly released short film Elders and their new project, the screen adaption of acclaimed novel The White Girl.
