Jala Jayaratne is a South-Asian American woman returning home to her small town after leaving three years ago. Can she handle her demanding parents, reconcile with her exes, and mend broken friendships in time for her sister’s wedding? Will she be ready for the impending visit of Nani, the family’s terrifying and judgmental matriarch?
Thirsty Suitors is filled to the brim with style, with Jala facing off against her Scott Pilgrim-esque exes in a series of hilarious and thrilling turn-based battle sequences. Combined with awesome and intuitive skating mechanics that allow you to traverse the town, Thirsty Suitors is an extremely enjoyable journey through Jala's life.
Thirsty Suitors is developed by Outerloop Games and is available on PC, Playstation, XBOX and Switch.

Claire Osborn-Li
Claire Osborn-Li is a writer living in Naarm/Melbourne and interested in art, videogames and digital culture. In 2022 she received her BA Honours at the University of Melbourne in Art History. Her work has appeared on the ACMI website and in Cordite, ArtsHub, GamesHub and Memo Review. She's played many videogames but among her favourites are Mutazione (2019) and Red Dead Redemption II (2018). She played 58 videogames last year and she hopes to play many more in 2024!

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.
Exception: discussion or images related to sex, pornography, discriminatory language, or similar is welcome if it meets all of the following criteria:
— It is necessary to the topic of discussion and no alternative exists
— It is presented in a respectful manner
— Attendees are respectfully given ample warning and opportunity to leave beforehand.
This exception specifically does not allow use of gratuitous sexual images as attention-getting devices or unnecessary examples.
Participants asked to stop any harassing behaviour are required to comply immediately.
If a participant engages in any of the aforementioned behaviour, ACMI may take any action they deem appropriate, from warning the offender to immediately expelling the offender with no refund.
Reporting and enforcement
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact an ACMI Women & Non-Binary Gamer Club team member immediately.
