Titled The Stars Were. This film shows closeups of the children who starred in “Walking to School” and “The Bear”.
The film then moves on to show a tractor dragging flames to set fire to a dry paddock. We see various farm scenery including sheep, burning off, horse riding and a tractor ploughing a field.
The film then shows a narrative short story titled “The Wish Wizard” which could be an Eaglehawk Primary school production. This film shows school children discovering a book which contains a map to “The Olde Wishing Well”. They gather together and conjure up a wizard using a magic spell. We see good close ups of children’s faces as they interact with the wizard.
We then see a school boy walking and running down a country road where he discovers animal tracks in the dirt and encounters a woman wearing a red coat carrying apples in a basket.
This film shows good examples of school fashion, children’s faces and farming practices.
