Remixing Godzilla

2022-2024

Film On display

Seventy years ago, when the original Godzilla film was released no one had any idea of the global impact this monster would have. As the number of films in the Godzilla franchise has increased over the decades so has the number of fans and their devotion to the King of the Monsters. These clips are an example of the ways Godzilla is celebrated and re-invented by the fans - from a comparison of monster roars from across the franchise, a fashion call out for the Godzilla-themed shoes worn by the cast of Godzilla Minus One, and a fan mash-up of Godzilla and Barbie.
