As we talk we learn (TEFC)

Language, specifically talking, is a valuable, perhaps essential element in processes of learning. This film looks at communication between teacher and pupil is necessary in order to maximize the learning process. Various kinds of classroom talking are illustrated in order to determine which is the most effective technique for learning.

Our collection comprises over 40,000 moving image works, acquired and catalogued between the 1940s and early 2000s. As a result, some items may reflect outdated, offensive and possibly harmful views and opinions. ACMI is working to identify and redress such usages.
