Describes the plan for shared responsibility of high school students at Millbrook School, N.Y.. Shows assigned jobs that contribute to the schools’ effective functioning and add meaning and interest to the life of the students. By encouraging its pupils to take jobs in the school’s store, bank, post office, fire department, zoo, photographic service, etc, the school prepares boys as responsible, community-minded citizens.
