Defensive riding is avoiding accidents by foreseeing possible dangers and taking appropriate action. Gives three short rules: firstly, try to anticipate and, therefore, avoid mistakes of other motorists; secondly, drive defensively, and heed all traffic rules and signals; thirdly, make sure you can be seen at all times.
