The methods by which a fifth-grade teacher becomes acquainted with the individual needs and characteristics of the children in her class, displayed in dramatised incidents. Shows how these techniques are successfully applied in five typical cases and how they might be generally used to supplement the teacher’s own experience and resourcefulness.
