It is important for both adults and children that parents maintain their self esteem. PGR examines various aspects of self esteem, including comparisons between reality and media images of parenthood, personal accounts of low self esteem - two mothers describe how they coped with it and survived, and dealing with the effects of unremitting child company. We also look at how and where parents can seek relief should any problems occur.
