Animated puppet film concerning a cobbler’s wife who is saddened by the roguish antics of her husband. When the cobbler steals a goat and incurs the wrath of an angry farmer his wife appeals to Krakonos the Mountain King for help. Krakonos changes the cobbler into a scarecrow until he repents of his evil ways.
