Mitch’s career as a hairdresser is nearing an end, but she remains optimistic and energetic. She meets Rex, charismatic, homeless and involved in schemes that result in his imprisonment. Mitch’s love for Rex survives his stay in prison, but when he escapes from custody, she is forced to confront the reality of their relationship and assume responsibility for her own future.
