Based on the novel by Noel Coward. Charles, a celebrated novelist and his second wife, Ruth, invite a medium to dinner to aid Charles in writing a thriller about mediums. At the seance, unseen by others present, Charles’ first wife, Elvira, appears and although the medium and Ruth attempt to send Elvira back, she has devised a scheme to keep Charles with her forever. Stars Rex Harrison, Kay Hammond, Constance Cummings and Margaret Rutherford.
