Episode number 6 of Series “A Day in the Life of a Woman”.
Udayani is a young Sri Lankan wife and mother who lives in a village near Kandy. She lives a simple traditional life rooted in Buddhist beliefs and customs. She is shown at work in the fields and at home, visiting the Temple of the Tooth in Kandy at the time of an important festival and assisting in the preparations for her younger sister’s marriage. The program is introduced by Franca Arena.
