Cold comfort is a lively and incisive documentary on the local and global consequences of the decision to export Australia’s uranium. Includes the true story of Maralinga, the impact of the Black Mist on the Aboriginal people and revealing footage od the consequences of uranium mining in one of Australia’s magnifican tropical wetlands. Also looks a the nuclear industry in response to global events such as the disasters at Three Mile Island and Chernobyl. Narrated by Jennifer Robinson.
