The mouse-activated candle lighter illustrates various forms of potential and kinetic energy. It is made from a mousetrap, fishing rod, alarm clock, ice-pack, train motor, rubberband, match and candle. Students are challenged to find the many forms of energy hidden in the mechanism and their movements. Suitable for secondary level.
