The open learning (or Open TAFE) concept means basing the course on a learning need of the particular student rather than needs of the institution. It allows students to study off-campus and in their own time. The differences between ‘open’ and ‘closed’ (or traditional learning) are mentioned. Introduced and narrated by Peter Couchman
